About 2LIFETAVERN
2LIFETAVERN is a five piece jazz, funk, and fusion combo with a wide range of repertoire including a wide variety of originals and covers. The band began its first rehearsals in July of 2024 where they were learning a collection of video game covers. From this point 2LIFE began to grow as musicians as they played some gigs and met regularly.
During the winter of 2024 into early 2025 the band began work on their first release of original compositions: The Barkeep’s Selection. This album showcases the different writing styles of each band member and captures the band at a strong point in the band’s growth.
With The Barkeep’s Selection being out 2LIFE would find themselves with a few new gigs and an opportunity to work on a film soundtrack. A few months would go into the writing and production of the film soundtrack before the band finally finished. After the film soundtrack wrapped up the band performed at events such as the Strawberry Moon Market at Strawtown Park and the Garfield Park Arts and Music Festival.
